Don't Fight your Body. Embrace it. Swing your Swing.
Our posture and movement produce a body response that influences how we interact with our environment. We are all born different. Each of us has an innate strength ready to be exploited. We all have great potential.
When I learned the “body preferences” approach years ago, it changed my way to coach, to analyze people. In Europe, we call it "Les preferences motrices". The pioneers are Volodalen, led by Dr. Cyrille Gindre, and Action Types. They are providing countless science-based data on the matter and the results on athletes from all disciplines are beyond expectation. After years of coaching using Body Preferences, my beliefs are stronger than ever.
By watching pro athletes perform around the world, it is obvious that their body languages are widely different, achieving greatness in their own ways. The problem: we love to copy what works for them because they are successful. While it makes sense, we neglect the fact that we have our own body language. We need to develop our natural pattern to be efficient and exploit our own identity.
In the past years, I combined my learning from “Les Preferences Motrices” with various US Golf certifications. Based on this and my 10+ years of coaching experience in Washington DC and Hartland Movement Center, I developed a unique and complete “Golf System” that allows each golfer to find their signature swing and build a Golf Conditioning program based on their natural movement.
There is an infinite way to swing the golf club, and we will find yours in 4 steps:
(1)The #1 swing killer is the Balance. For a house, you must lay the foundation - For your swing, you must acquire balance. We Can Help to find your natural balance.
(2)To improve your coordination and reduce the risk of back injury, you will learn your natural spine rotation.
(3)Based on all your Body Preferences, we will perfect your takeaway, backswing, downswing, impact, and finish.
(4)We will develop your own sensation, personalize your swing approach, and create a routine to play better on the golf course.
Once your Swing Signature is established, we will work on improving each aspect of your movement, including balance, mobility, strength, and power around your Body Preferences. In summary, we build a specific Golf Functional Strength training program based on YOU.
You may wonder if this is designed for new or experienced golfers. Well, it doesn’t matter. This is a personalized experience to improve your swing.
No matter where you start, this program will lower your handicap!
- For the new golfer, it is a chance to start from scratch with a good foundation using your best profile.
- For experienced golfers, small adjustments can give big outcomes. If you have been stuck at a good handicap for a while, you will see that you can still improve when you promote your natural movement.
Overall, you will gain confidence and better know your strengths and your weaknesses. Your game will become predictable, repeatable, and enjoyable.
